When something is refused

Applies to ProQuranTutor Professional, all versions.

A refusal from us always carries a short code and a sentence written for a person. This is the full list, taken from the integration contract rather than from memory.

Licensing

| Code | What it means | What to do | |---|---|---| | invalid_key | We have no licence with that key | Check for a typo. The portal shows your key's hint, so you can confirm you are holding the right one | | product_mismatch | The key is for another product | Check which key you entered | | expired | The right to use the software has ended | Only applies to a time-limited licence. A ProQuranTutor Professional licence is perpetual and will not see this | | activation_limit_reached | The production, or staging, slot is already held by another installation | Release the old installation first, or ask us if it is gone | | not_activated | A verification arrived for an activation we do not know | Usually a restored backup on a new host. Activate again | | revoked | The licence has been withdrawn | This is rare and always for a written reason. Ask us | | staging_approval_required | A staging activation we do not accept automatically | See production, staging and development |

Updates and downloads

| Code | What it means | What to do | |---|---|---| | updates_not_included | Your updates entitlement has lapsed | Your academy keeps working, and you can still re-download what you had. Renew to receive newer releases | | release_not_available | The release has no downloadable archive | Usually a withdrawn archive. Ask us | | release_not_eligible | That release was published after your updates entitlement ended | See updating | | rate_limited | Too many download authorizations too quickly | Wait and try again |

"Could not be reached"

This is not a refusal, and it is not an expiry. It means our servers did not answer. The product treats that as our problem: it keeps running, enters a grace period and retries.

If it persists, check that your host allows outbound HTTPS to our API address, then tell us.

Anything else

If you see a code that is not on this page, send it to us in a ticket with the support report. An unknown code is our documentation failing, not yours.

Questions before you buy? Write to hello@fetchsolution.com. If you are already a customer, open a support ticket instead, so the conversation is attached to your licence.
