Requirements

Applies to ProQuranTutor Professional, all versions.

The host

  • PHP 8.3 or newer, with the extensions mbstring, pdo, pdo_mysql, bcmath, intl, zip, curl, openssl and sodium
  • MariaDB 10.11 or newer, or an equivalent MySQL, with its own database and user for the academy
  • A web server serving the application's public/ directory, not the application root
  • HTTPS, with a certificate a browser trusts

Outbound access

The installation talks to two Fetch Solutions addresses, both over HTTPS:

  • https://api.fetchsolution.com for licence activation, daily verification and update discovery
  • the download address Fetch returns when a download is authorized

If your hosting blocks outbound HTTPS, licensing will report that the vendor could not be reached. That is not an expiry, and your academy keeps teaching: the product treats a vendor it cannot reach as a vendor problem, not as a customer one.

What you should have ready

  • The domain the academy will run on, decided before activation
  • A backup of the database and the application directory, taken before you start
